Bloodless Part 1 Ch. 3. The first ride

It’s been two days now, Kevin had held it in. Nobody at school. Not even his parents knew. Mom knew about them being vampires and all that but not the meaning behind this. Dad didn’t know a thing, nor did any of his peers. Kevin didn’t even care when on his way home Noah and two of his friends came and took his hat again. Kevin figured he deserved it, he was the worst friend in the whole wide world. He would just go home alone and do his homework, eat, then watch the news about Oskar and Eli, then go to bed.

Kevin couldn’t believe what he just had seen. He ran as fast as he could, not looking back. They would probably kill him soon. I didn’t dare to see them coming. They had killed this man, this innocent man. He probably had a wife and kids, just like his parents. He stopped by the first house they had visited, with the man who had blue hair. He wasn’t there, probably inside. Kevin was tired of running all the way. He rested against the fence, looked up at the sky. Thought for a minute.

Eli walked along the street, in the city. He was looking around everywhere, where to go? What to buy? He was already exited, it couldn’t just be anything. First of all it had to be small, and second: It really had to mean something. Not just a funny treat like a plastic banana on the size of a thumb. Or a simple Rubik’s cube with numbers on it or something. This really had to be something. But what? He would meet Oskar in an hour by that weird statue in the middle of the city. He looked at his watch, thirty minutes wasted already.

Chapter 53: Eli’s Ghost

Oskar rode his bike rapidly down the hill toward the lighthouse. He knew where Eli was, but he also knew she was trying very hard to keep him from knowing. And he was afraid for her. And he was afraid of what she would do if he approached her. Would she just fly away and leave him behind again? And if she did, should he go after her; a pointless exercise since when it really mattered, she was so much faster than he? It had taken him days to find her, even with Hannah’s help.

She came inside, did not bother to look at him. Hakan struggle with the melted boxes. The stuff inside was all wet.
Is she still angry with me?
She didn't even look at him, that's how it was when she fought with him, thought of him indifferently. He looked at the window, and the rain came pouring in not allowing him to see nothing except the waterfalls of water.
"In two days...." She told him as she went to her room as she with one hand slam the door.
So that's the way things are.

One day as I was cleaning up some old files from some of our clients a thick book fell from one of the shelves. It had a black cover. It said:
'Eli's hidden super super secret diary that not even Oskar knows about'
I took a pick. Hey most of the pages were about me! So I decided to read from the beginning.
Entry one:
That day...
Entry One:
What can I say? Oskar is cute. He melted my heart when he told me:
"Let me come with you."
