Fate's Favor

Oskar and Eli hear my voice and ponder my words.

To most Fate is cruel and scornful, a tyrant who delights in the
misery of man.
Yet upon your two souls she has cast favor and allowed your lives
to mingle.
Esteem lightly not her favor for she is proud and takes delight in the
sorrows of those who refuse her.
In her morbid collection of mankind's aspirations she takes much joy.

Oskar, cling to that which so many have striven, bled and perished
for without ever knowing fully.
Understand what is before you, look not with your eyes.
Let not the Day tempt you with false rewards nor the Sun fool you
with light that only blinds.
Embrace the acceptance and charms of the Moon for under Heaven's
lights your treasure waits.

Eli, your dark gift does not repeal your right to the most preciuos of
finds.
That which you did not choose does not taint your soul nor stain
your affection.
Your true beauty is not hidden from those with sight.
Let that which beats within guide your actions.
Spurn fear, reject doubt and sacrifice solitude upon the altar of hope.

Oskar and Eli, Fate's favor has caused the demons to burn with jealousy
and the angels to applaud in secret.
Care not about their thoughts.
Care not about the perils of man.
Care not about what Fate has in store for this world.
Search no longer for what you have already found.
Reach out! Take hold! Grasp tighter than you ever dared!
Let the host of Heaven and the captives of Hell witness that Love is not bound.

Oskar and Eli, give hope to one not as fortunate as thee.
