Re: That awkward moment when you're watching the movie and..
Yep, that happens to me too. They are two separated universes, with their own particularities, but sometimes they merge into only one, reinforcing mutually. The scene of "knight of Angby maybe" and other funny parts of the movie, like the banana's one, I wish they were in the movie too. But somehow,...

That awkward moment when you're watching the movie and...
After 2 weeks of searching I finally got my copy of the movie. I was watching it for the second time, and my mind was blown several times. I read the book after watching the movie for the first time, and somehow, it looks like I was mentally filling all the gaps in the movie with the scenes in the b...

Re: Would you have let Eli infect you?
With 12 years, I don't think so. It must be a terrible and sad way of living. I would have missed so many things.
But nowaday, I'm not so sure. I think I probably would have ended accepting

Re: quick question
I really like the part of the first attack, from the dreams of Jocke about a new life, to the carefull description of the death, very impactant. All the kiosk scene brought me one of the biggest smiles I ever had reading a book, and I find it nice untill the end, with the hug and Eli's reaction. Tho...

I almost get one infected, but I failed.
He really, really enjoyed the movie (LTROI), and he told me that he would be reading the book. Now he tells me that it's ok, but he is skipping many parts
The book has some boring parts, but I don't think that he is infected.

Re: "Yours, Eli" chords
I think that the main chords that are played repeatedly are f, C#, G# and D# . One time at the intro, ant two times each one from there. Something like this: f, C#, G#, D# f, C#, G#, D# f--------------- f Tonight -----------C#------------C# I am the young boy -----------G#------------G# Left on your...

Re: Your Favorite Location in LTROI
If I were to the jungle Gym and I sat there solving my Rubik cube (starting by the corners, obviously) I wonder what the people around would think.
Probably "another freak of that movie". Or maybe they didn't even recognize the scene at all.
Just wondering...

Re: Your Favorite Location in LTROI
Question: if Blackeberg is nice, why was Lacke so unhappy with it? You know--about all that social engineering gone wrong, etc. I sense a logical disconnect here... or maybe it's just better now than it was in the '80s. That's a little bit better explained in the book. At the begining of the histor...
