Re: LMI for Oscar!
Might get nominated but I don't think it will win any Oscars, LMI isn't really the type of film the judges are looking for.

Re: USA Today: The Dreaded LMI Comic Book Prequel
Has anyone found and/or read this comic yet? I've checked the local stores and it does not seem to be in stock. I imagine following the poor sales of the movie they might not feel as confident anymore about the comic.

Re: The car crash.
Even with incredible software and talented artists, a lot of today's special effects look like what they are, computer generated special effects. Look no further than the awful, phony-looking movements of the Abby figures in "Let Me In". What I like are effects, either special or practical, that I ...

Re: Let Me In: My Take
So, I'm going to officially label myself the black sheep of this forum by announcing that I absolutely loved Let Me In . Just got back from my second viewing, and now that I've had ample time to digest, process, and review the film and its nuances, I'm here to give my two cents. Very cool :) Thanks...

Re: AICIN Review of LMI
that a scene where Abby shows Owen (this film's version of Oskar) a picture of her and a young Jenkins it's overkill. We already got it. Awful, awful idea... >_< Under-estimating the audience :/ kind of insulting to hammer it in. I watch Let Me In and I don't see Matt Reeves in it. I see Tomas Alfr...

Re: Live From The Fantastic Fest
Maybe it could be EFTI being co-producers with Hammer took issue with Alfredson saying that a remake was unnecessary because they got it right the first time, and decided to take his name off the credits in retaliation. That is very possible! Alfredson's disapproval probably put him on a poor relat...

Re: Live From The Fantastic Fest
My main problem with this is that Alfredson doesn't seem to get enough credit, if any. I don't know if there's some kind of private feud between the two directors or if Tomas is still pissed but in any case Reeves should take the high road and publicly pay his dues to the man who came first and lai...

Re: 100% on Rotten Tomatoes
I loved Piranha 3D. Seriously. It was so much fun. It is not at all a good movie, but I would absoultely give it a "Fresh" rating. Soooooo much fun. SOOOOOOO much blood and gore. Just an all around fun movie to go see with your friends towards the end of the summer. Haha really? awesome. I'm actual...

Re: Sneaking into "Let Me In"
Anyway, any thoughts on sneaking into Let Me In? Am I the only person here under 17 who will encounter this problem? Haha they're also super srs about movie ratings where I live. Card you at every R movie and even have security go down rows to check ticket stubs. I remember using a fire exit to get...
