Re: How does Eli view her gender-identity situation?
My theory is that, at some level, the whole human species knows we are at the brink of the next evolutionary plateau, and that we are currently so fascinated with the vampyr because a] we're imprinted on a Darwinian model of evolution, and b] it's a more-or-less comprehensible image of existence a ...

Re: If Eli Turned Oskar, Would They Recruit A Caretaker
Where I live is not Blackeberg, but it is Scandinavia. This year winter came early - it has been down to -10°C already, and we have snow. Saturday is November 13, the day Eli and Oskar was sitting on the train to Karlstad 29 years ago. The book and film settings are equally cold or colder (film). S...

Re: The whole thing a fantasy?
I like this angle, im Captain of the no happy ending boat. I actualy had a similar idea to the this, in that if youve seen the movie 'Fight Club' or better yet read the novel you can really wrap your head around and thats Hakan and Eli are figments of Oscars imagination. Parts of his psyche that bra...

Re: Eli Casting
If there were to boys casting, I guess it would be a bit weard for the two boys to do what Lina and Kåre did as theyr roles. I wonder if they would have cut some big love scenes out, considering that the boys mabye refused to do what they had been told. Although, I am happy with the roles. No dough...

Re: If Eli Turned Oskar, Would They Recruit A Caretaker
I like to belive that Eli turns Oskar. I have read once bitten, and before that, I never thought of it all simply being by accident. So, eather that, or Both Eli and Oskar agrres to turn him. Im a fan of the darker idea where Eli accedentaly turns Oskar in some way. Possibly by losing control, or a...

Re: Oskar's bullies
Oskar just had some bad anexity. All he needed was some zanex and he would have been fine....of course he would have a drug problem then but you would be surprised how many problems drugs can get rid of to narrow down to just one, drugs.

Re: Philippines Poster
Wow that is terrible. I guess they are trying to heavily market it as over the top western horror. Some people are going to be surprised and upset.
