Re: Interview with Anne Billson
Don't forget that Mort is French for death. Perhaps a play on words.

Re: Nature Scenes in LTROI-Significance & Interpretation
TA (and JAL) wanted to portray as natural a setting as possible. Something unusual happening in THE REAL WORLD. What could be more 'real' than shots of flowers unfolding and snow falling? Utter familiarily coupled with strangeness.

Re: I've guess I've forgotten how
On the physical level perhaps he did, but there are many other instances in both the film and novel which show he still possessed the human spirit. Their race to the kiosk, play in the basement and Eli's concern for Hakan (even if misplaced), show Eli as being very much human. JAL gave us the hollo...

I've guess I've forgotten how

Re: LTROI For Dummies
I think for Matt Reeves, even more than for TA, the vampire is a fantasy. A personification of inner rage. So the question of motives is rather irrelevant. JAL takes it more at face value, hence LTODD. TA is playing it both ways. He clearly likes the fantasy idea (hand on the window as Eli arrives a...

Great pics!! I've bought a Pentax K5 recently, mostly for its video capability, but I must admit I'm impressed with these shots.

Re: Eli's Androgony
It can be said of me that I am not a man, not a woman, not old, not young. Indeed, this part of the story is completely unsurprising to me. Nothing. Been there, done that.

Re: For the infected who have seen Akta Manniskor
One of my colleagues has just returned from Karkov (she's Ukranian) and says it's not so cold there, around zero (celsius) at the moment.
