Re: About the taxi driver.
In regards to Eli's odor, let's not forget he was a product of the 18th century when people did not bathe very often as it was considered unhealthy. Re: About the taxi driver.
The whole bathtub full of blood thing really caught me off guard when I read the book... having seen the movie first. Eli had not aged one day in approximately 200 years. She mentions that sometimes she sleeps for months and said something to the effect that 'that's how it is for me anyway'. Now, if...

Re: My First Impressions of HtU
The reviews and comments in this thread have inspired me to buy and read this book!! It sounds fascinating, if not akin to Stephen King's "Pet Semetary".

Re: Audio Design in Let the Right One In
Thanks for the warm welcome. I will indeed read the recommended posts. :) I first saw the movie about a month ago and I've already watched it three times. I finally bought the book because there were gaps in the film that I could not fill in and wanted to know more about it. The book and movie are b...

Re: Audio Design in Let the Right One In
I'm new to the board.
Does anyone know the name of the song that Oskar is listening to as Eli walks from (I'm assuming) the shower to the bedroom to get dressed? He is sort of tapping his leg and bopping around and she does the same and smiles.
