Re: What you tell non-infected about LtROI
Most of the people that I talk to have never even heard of LTROI and usually dismiss it as some teen vampire indie film. It is frustrating to know that the majority of people have heard of terrible big budget films instead of genuinely good films like this.

Re: Sequel Challenge!
I'd probably like to see an animated or CGI version of either Bloody Romantic or Once Bitten.

Re: Oskar's aftereffects
Yeah Eli didn't seem to be bothered when speaking about his emasculation, but he did seem effected when Oskar asked about what happened to Eli's mother. I assume the most difficult thing Oskar would be effected by after the pool incident would be to not be human anymore, since he chooses to be turne...

Question about the late 1700s Sweden.
I'm not very good at researching history so I'll ask here. Was the mid to late 1700s Sweden depicted accurately in LTROI? In the book Elias' time period seems more like the medieval period which was way before the 1700s, can anyone tell if the description of Elias' lifestyle is correct? Were there l...

Re: Is it a story about denying masculinity?
I don't really think the story is about denying masculinity. For me all the adult characters aside from Avila, Lacke, and Virginia were unlikable. The male characters are definitely flawed in this story but so are the female characters. I actually hated Oskar's mom more than any other character for...

Welcome to We the Infected hitzq!
I agree, calling LTROI a vampire film just doesn't do it justice since there's so much more to it than that.

Re: Where is Oskar headed at the start?
I understand what you mean, I was also like Oskar and even had a similar encounter with one of my bullies like how Oskar hit Jonny in the ear. I didn't have an Eli of mine so I had to move on by myself. But I always think about how I could have gone down the other path where I would not be able to g...
