Our longest day of daylight is nearly here.
I found that June 20th for me will be 15 hrs and 17 mins of daytime, with the sunset occurring at 8:26pm.
Yet the two charts I found both say the latest sunset for me with on June 26th at 8:27pm. Okay, how is that the case? Can somebody explain that? The same charts say my earliest sunrise was on June 15th at 5:08am.
Anyway, I'm at N 42° 13' 48" latitude. Who is at more of an extreme than I?
Midsummer
Re: Midsummer
Around here in southern Sweden (55°42' N) the 21st seems to be the longest day.
17 hours 32 minutes of daytime.
No night at all - only various shades of twilight. Eli wouldn't be comfortable!
Sunrise at 04:22, sunset at 21:55.

But from the beginning Eli was just Eli. Nothing. Anything. And he is still a mystery to me. John Ajvide Lindqvist
