So are you actually building below water (sea?) level in some of these? or are these pools up within the pyramids somewhere?

EDIT: Must be pools. I see what seems to be the same area, apparently empty, a few pictures above. Which makes me wonder: Could you build this same room below sea level?

I did not bother to fill in the entire foundation with sandstone, so there is actually a layer of water inside the foundation. The pit in the room with multiple waterfalls connects to this water layer. The other rooms don't connect, but they could if I dug deeper.
