Love those Quadrotors!
Re: Love those Quadrotors!
I am shocked! Shocked at an expensive drone not responding to commands.

They had to edit out the sequence where it dives into a narrow alleyway in Malmö, well after dark, discovers two kids playing around, and has to beat a very hasty retreat when they extend wings and take off after it.
Re: Love those Quadrotors!
Not exactly a quadrotor, but amazing in its own way.
Watch predator following it at around 6:40

Beautiful and elegant in it's design. It reminds me of the Etrich Taube, the first German plane of WWI with a military mission: observation. I also read that an off-label use was dropping a handheld bomb.
Of note: The Taube didn't have ailerons. It turned by warping the wings, like the ornithopter in the video.

Beautiful plane for sure. It looks s like the line between art and utility is blurred in this one.dongregg wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2019 6:03 pmBeautiful and elegant in it's design. Re: Love those Quadrotors!
I'm in favor of trying this out. I mean the ride, not the drone flight. Anyone with me?
Flying the done as done here is really remarkable
Re: Love those Quadrotors!
Love it! But you'll notice there were no occupants; almost certainly for safety reasons. Those high-speed racing drones can be nasty if you get hit by one.
I'll go with you all any time, unless there's an upper age limit . But only if someone else flies the drone.

Re: Love those Quadrotors!
Bedazzling and enchanting! The speed-of-light vid that followed is pretty amazing, too.

Re: Love those Quadrotors!
Can a drone fly fast enough to follow an arrow in flight?
Answer below. If you're impatient go to 7:22 for the final effort (full screen is best):
