Fate's Favor

Postby moonvibe34 » Tue Jan 12, 2010 3:18 am

at the risk of wearing out my welcome to the fan fiction section i am submitting my fourth poem which will be the last one for a while. i do not wish to "hog" this section and i would like to spend more time enjoying the awesome content of this section. i'm sure i'll learn much from these gifted authors. at best i am a novice and havivg my words presented here is truly an honor that i will cherish and never take lightly. in time as the infection continues to inspire me and i privately hone my methods maybe i will have something comparable to the works of fiction here that i have come to admire and revere.

the first time i watched the movie i was deeply concerned that Oskar, after seeing Eli's true nature in the basement, would let Eli's "dark gift" cause him to loose something so rare and special. that's the inspiration behind this collection of words. as always thoughts and opinions are appreciated as i am striving to reach new levels.http://let-the-right-one-in.com/fancont ... ates-favor

Freaking awesome. Don't go away, Moonvibe--keep it up!

Oskar and Eli, give hope to one not as fortunate as thee.

That would be - all of us.
But something in me died at Peleliu. Perhaps it was a childish innocence that accepted as faith the claim that Man is basically good.

I am not good at understanding poetry (even in my native language  ) but from what I've understood, it's awesome and beautiful  :) I liked it very much even if I don't fully know what is going on in the poem
Phillip J. Fry: "I hate my life, I hate my life, I hate my life."

"It is the nature of men to create monsters, and it is the nature of monsters to destroy their makers."
