Okay, I'm just not so smart. Can somebody explain this one to me?BravoHotel wrote:Can't believe I didn't think of this one sooner with it being all over my facebook.
Re: Just for fun.
It's the ice bucket fundraiser challenge. I know almost nothing about it, but someone (often a celebrity) dumps a bucket of ice water on his or her head and then nominates someone else to do the same. Not really sure how money gets raised that way, or for what. There is a consensus that the whole thing is moronic, but it has gone viral in spite of that. So I guess it turns out to be a good idea, however goofy it sounds.

It is not often I'm asked about stuff I like, nor is it common I share, but if I ever do I can all too well see it going like this.
"He's got a cracking smile but he can't dive for toffee."

Those children could think "Oskar got completely crazy... And who's John Ajvide Lindqvist?"
He is looking at me, silently, expectantly, in the near-dark room, neither smiling nor frowning; gaunt as a Belsen child, proud as the Devil, distant and beautiful as a star. [DMt.]

They're laughing so hard because they heard someone say, "Min svävare är full av ålar!"
