AMAZON UK SCREW UP!
Recently I received e-mail from Amazon UK stating that my book will arrive between 23 and 24 of September, however when checking actual website I get estimated delivery on 5th of October. After sending an inquiry about my order, this is the reply from Amazon UK.

I can completely understand that you have received an e-mail stating that, you will receive your order in between September 23, 2011 - September 28, 2011 earlier than promised, I have checked our records and found that, the e-mail was sent by mistake and please ignore that e-mail. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

I have checked your order and can see that the estimated delivery date given for this order is October 05, 2011.

Your order is still in transit and I am confident that it will arrive by the estimated delivery date. You can confirm the estimated delivery date by visiting “Your Account” via the following link:.....

So PeteMork watch out. Your order might be slightly delayed as well.

Yep! When I checked online, the estimated delivery date was listed as October 5, in spite of the E-mail.

Whoa! I just received my copy today! Way earlier than expected. Earlier even than the original e-mail I received. I won't start reading it until monday though. Very busy weekend. I'm more excited for this one than HtU and Harbour I think. Hope everyone else gets theirs soon too.

Well my copy was dispatched yesterday via Express Post from Amazon.co.uk...yeah I know I said Book Depository in my OP but I second guessed it when I realized Book Depository doesn't allow for Express Shipping. I really want this book before next weekend (next weekend is a Public 3 Day Holiday here in Aus) and I have plans to take it to the coast with me and start reading next weekend whilst on vacation

But anyways skip to the end...hopefully it should be here by next week just in time for holiday

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (from Book Depository - god that website is cheap to buy from)

I got TTSS for $11.80 AUD (with posting) - or 12.50$ USD for those living in the US

compare that to the 50$ AUD that I paid for Little Star from Amazon.co.uk (granted that was due to the Express Posting knocking the price up)

Free Worldwide Shipping from Book Depository...can't complain with that...only downside is it can range from 10-12 working days for delivery (depending on your country)
