Reflections on this film... after falling in love

Re: Reflections on this film... after falling in love
I discovered "Let The Right One In" only a few weeks ago and have watched it six times since. Although I never experienced that kind of love... and for that reason I become so very emotionally involved in the film. Oskar and Eli were able to find a love few people (in my experience anyway) ever find. And I feel so happy for them.

Envious indeed. Even though I was married for 32 years... they were empty years. I never have (and probably never will) experienced anything close to the affection Oskar and Eli feel. But it is a joy to share theirs.

It's love and remarkably realistic portrayal of life during childhood that keeps bringing me back.Jim Nolt wrote:Envious indeed. Even though I was married for 32 years... they were empty years.
