First time watching....

Post by Twofaced » Sun May 02, 2010 10:59 am

I stumbled upon this film in accident. I can honestly tell you that this movie
had me feeling mixed emotions.... in a good way. It's been while a film made me feel soo attached to the characters. Eli for one... is just beautiful. Something about her eyes that the movie kept showing... And who can't feel Oskers sorrows? I don't know what it is... I actually just got done watching it and searched for a forum for this movie and made an account just to say this. I am definetly going to have to buy this movie. Maybe my all time favorite. Awsome movie!!!! :D

Welcome aboard! Be careful, though ... some of us have been thinking similar thoughts for almost a year now, if not longer. ;)

Hello and Welcome Twofaced.

Please come in. :)

I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.

You've got it bad, Twofaced, and that's a good thing IMO.

You may well like it here!

Welcome to the ranks of The Infected. Your story is familiar to each of us. ;)

Your next task is to infect as many of those around you as possible. Become the vector for infection. :)
...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.

It is amazing how this movie hits so many people emotionally.... that is truly the mark a "great" movie.... I think the only other movie I have ever seen that hit me this hard was It's A Wonderful Life.... or maybe On the Waterfront...

oh by the way.... welcome... :D
