for posting the link to the Odeon website otherwise I would never have known it was on...I took a friend along to see the showing in Chelmsford, Essex, and while the turnout was poor (15 souls including myself), the lack of people present only added to the experience (no chomping on popcorn, etc).
My friend had only seen the film on DVD once and admitted there were times in the film where he still jumped. He was nonetheless very impressed with seeing the film on a large screen, as was I - I noticed small details in the film that I'd never noticed on the DVD. One small detail that I saw stayed in my mind and I thought I'd share it with you: when Lacke & Co. gather with Gösta at the scene of Jocke's demise, there is an imprint in the snow of the sled that Håkan used to haul the body away:

I had never noticed that before. Neither had I been aware of Oskar's nervous breathing when Lacke is searching for a knife in the kitchen of Eli's apartment. It's the small details like this that really make the film, in my opinion.
I also noticed a lot of foot-tapping whenever 'Kvar i min bil' was playing
Anyway, my passion for the film hasn't lessened any and it's good to know there are at least 14 other infected walking about the streets of Essex...
