Bad news about the new Blu-ray release

Unless there's some evidence of its release I haven't seen, it seems more likely that the thing isn't even out yet.

If you were looking for the bonus disc then DON'T buy from Amazon

Oh well will continue to wait and see if this mythical bonus disc ever materializes on The Hut.com's retail edition

On a plus side, the cover and slip case are a VAST improvement over the old cover design

Shouldn't the DVD be the only one with a bonus disc, anyhow? I mean, I'd think a blu-ray disc would have enough space for the new special features, so maybe that bit was a typo on the Hut's part or something.

Although I truthfully don't know what to believe anymore...with the way its going...I wouldn't be surprised if we end up getting an email saying "Sorry but the item we listed isn't quite the item we listed"

Maybe someone should contact whoever wrote the blog that helped correct the botched subtitles at Magnolia to see if they can help us to pressure Magnolia to come out with a new release with the UK special features, who knows maybe it might work again.

Yeah I checked it out tonight

Same GREAT film , yet same old mediocre Blu Ray release (well minus the Audio Commentary, the Audio Commentary is still awesome). But yeah it's the same old Blu Ray as before, same deleted scenes, same commentary between JAL and TA, Same Photo Gallery...nothing new on this disc

It was scheduled to be released on Oct. 18. I think the key word is "scheduled". It's either not been released yet, or there's some other problem. For those who might have been faked-out by the Amazon adverts, they did list the year of release as 2009. What The Hut advertised was a release date of 2010 (and I believe they also mentioned Oct. 18), and it did mention an interview with Kare and Lina. So if you ordered a 2010 release from The Hut you should be OK. But obviously it is late.

But that beats getting the wrong one early.
