I found this while reading the swedish author and comidian Jonas Gardell's diary from his website.
It's about when him and Marilyn Manson were both guest on the same episode of a swedish tv-show in 2009.
an extract from the diary-post:
"When Marilyn came to the broadcast it turned out (of course) that he was a very kind guy, not half as drunk as claimed. Even though he delivered some pop star-attitudes while the camera rolled, but in every commercial break, he was talkative and kind and apologized if he seemed rude.
We talked about "Let the Right One In" which he liked very much, both book and movie, and he was impressed when I told him that the director Tomas Alfredson is a close friend of mine, and that i know the author."

Who wouldn't be impressed by that.
...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.
