"Yours, Eli" chords

Post by [Eden] » Fri Mar 30, 2012 11:14 pm

...anyone?

I can't play guitar here, but I've struggled to get the permission to play in the garden ('just soft picking, NO strumming', that's obvious...).

Would love to play this song.

Even transposed would be fine (one or two half-steps up), don't mind.

Thank you for "making" me listen to it again. :D :D
While wandering here between posts and FF, I am gradually getting convinced, that I haven't seen anywhere more beautiful madness than on this forum. Clubmeister

Great song :)

I think that the main chords that are played repeatedly are f, C#, G# and D# . One time at the intro, ant two times each one from there.

Something like this:

f, C#, G#, D#
f, C#, G#, D#

f--------------- f
Tonight
-----------C#------------C#
I am the young boy
-----------G#------------G#
Left on your doorstep
---------- D#---------D#
You can choose to love

The same progression for the rest. Hope it helps you with the fingerpicking, let me know if you get something more , I'm interested too :D
Then, window, let day in, and let life out.

It sounds good, thanks! ;)

Mh, once I found a (easier) way to play with the capo on first or second f., but I can't remember the chords anymore
