I think, definitely! This glimpse is such strong magic. It let you feel this "I´M SAVED" feeling.

:o   Yes! I never thought this way, but YES!
He is looking at me, silently, expectantly, in the near-dark room, neither smiling nor frowning; gaunt as a Belsen child, proud as the Devil, distant and beautiful as a star. [DMt.]

Must be about time I introduced you all to my mug. I've had it since my birthday (October), and I'm English, so it has seen a lot of tea.

That image (same one Clubmeister has on his wall) goes all the way around to the other side. Also it's blood red on the inside- if anyone is interested. I wish I'd taken a photo when it was in better shape now.

So yeah... two "addictions" rolled into one. And I love the way the smile is just shown through the eyes, a touch of genius.

Happy birthday!
Since I saw that mug I figured I'd show something I found sometime back. I already posted photo of this item, but I think it deserves a repeat showing....I found this lighter at the local gunshow. Had to have it. :)

If anyone ever needed a reason to start smoking...

But that is really cool, and to find it at a gun show. I bet that was the last thing you expected to see.

Nice stuff, guys! Yeah, that's a really good reason to start smoking... or drinking tea, indeed!

Another thing I never really make a consious connection while watching the movie: The police officer in the beginning talking with Oskar's class, makes reference to cancer lady in the book. I've never really visualized that scene in the book while watching that part of the movie. How Eli tries to shut her eyelids, then covers her face with a cloth, then hallucinates. This is one of those moments where I pity Eli the most. Late night rambling
