Who's with me in thinking that sometime around when Let Me In hits theaters, they're going to do a DVD/Blu Ray double-dip and re-release Let the Right One In with more bonus features (like the commentary track from the UK release, for example) and "free" movie cash to see the remake?

And, of course, since I am a slave to all things involving this film, I will be buying it, even though I JUST got LTROI on Blu Ray, and still have my DVD of it.

They won't be getting any more $ from me. I bought the Region 1 DVD (crappy subtitles), the Asian region DVD with movie subtitles before the UK blu ray came out and the UK blu ray, which is excellent. Also saw LTROI 7 times at the theater though I would go see it again.

I'll most likely buy the Blu-Ray version when I finally get around to upgrading, but a new release would have to have some SIGNIFICANT bonus features on it for me to splash more cash.

I had read somewhere (maybe on this forum?) that TA decided not to release any form of behind-the-scenes footage or extras (other than what's already in the public domain) as he wanted to preserve the magic of the movie. I think he likened it to not showing the bunny before pulling it from the magician's hat.

That said, Lina does indeed have a beautiful voice and it would be interesting to hear if it would have any positive or negative impact on the final cut.

My prediction is that our infected number will at LEAST multiply by ten. I don't know what you guys think, but I also think that the actors will appear in other realeases for English speaking countries.
