Done. Very satisfying. Took a little longer than I thought it would. The color areas were distinctive, so I counted on that. It is good to have viewing at 150, 200%, etc. I get it not to use CTRL+ or right-click/zoom in. But changing the screen resolution is helpful. I wear pretty strong reading glasses as it is. For distant vision, I just walk around school nodding to students as though I could make out their features. My vision is past correcting to 20/20, but, "On the Internet nobody knows you're a dog." If you know that New Yorker cartoon, then you've been walking up and down in the earth for a long time indeed.

Woof! :wags tail:

Thanks for that puzzle. Not having a white background within the puzzle helped tremendously.

...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.

This puzzle is from a great painting of Eli by lilhydra. It may be quite difficult, but I want to give it a try. http://three.flash-gear.com/npuz/puz.ph ... k=74388547

It was as hard as I thought it might be. It is a beautiful painting. I guess that kept me going. I don't teach tomorrow, but I have a load of chores to do around the house, so I needed to go to bed a couple of hours ago. With the chores in mind, I almost gave it up at about the 3/4 point. But I kept thinking it would get easier, as the previous ones have done once you get most of the pieces into place. I was also aware that I would never try it again if I gave up. I couldn't discern that I was achieving any kind of learning curve, though I probably was. At least, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance assures one that the second reassembly doesn't take as long as the first one. Works for motorcycles, but this puzzle...

After the really difficult painting of Eli by Lilhydra, I was ready for something easier. This one, "Hur gjorde du?", is easy to moderate.

This was a good, tough, fun one to figure out. I let you put the last piece in place:

Good going!

I tested the Z & the A of MM theory of reassembly. I gave up trying to redo this one after about 10 minutes. It's still tough and still fun, but I didn't seem to pick up any speed on the redo.

First time, I got down to one piece and was ready to cry foul. Turns out, it was a green plaid piece sitting in plain view on the green plaid area (bottom right), near the piece you left for me. :o

Oh this was not easy for me! All that very light blue/green/white was like little pieces of glass in the sunlight.
