Things I've noticed, realized or picked up on

I have watched the movie numerous times, since around the middle of last month. The 18th, I believe. So, possibly 15 times... maybe more, maybe less.
One thing I caught right away, is the sense of the guy who is his dad's friend, being more than that. Early on, I also quickly got how Eli meant, "I'm not a girl.". At first, of course, it's the obvious thought, Well, yeah... vampire.
Much more recently I realized that the pole used to hit Conny, is the one used to push the guy in the water, earlier in the movie.
There might be more I'm forgetting. I can't wait to watch it again, to see what else I catch.
