Blackeberg.org defunct???

Post by gary13136 » Wed Dec 15, 2010 1:57 am

I hadn't checked-out Blackeberg.org in a while, and when I tried this evening I found that it has apparently closed. In it's place was an advert for the book that they were gathering information for. Apparently it is now published and available; in Swedish of course. I was kind of disappointed; there were a lot of interesting pictures and remembrances from people who lived or still live there.

Does anyone know if maybe it just changed it's address and hasn't really shut down?

It was probably only a temporary failure. I'm trying now and it's working.

Seems like the blog is temporarily dedicated to promote Tomas Westberg's (Mr. blackeberg.org) new book about Blackeberg. It has been like this for maybe a couple of months now. http://www.bokus.com/b/9789163339035.html

Hope the blog comes back. I'm even thinking of getting a copy of the book.

With Google Translate and my wholly-inadequate Swedish, I believe I can get through it---eventually. :D The bokus website does list the book as not published yet though.

I think we are in a photo in that book, drakkar, GoV, Stefl, and myself I mean. I will definitely have to grab a copy in January when I go back! :D

Yes, I suspect so :D
Or rather - I think I know, have been mailing a bit with Tomas Westberg some months ago :)
