Very subtle differences between this and Johan's version.

Not sure it is worth it's own topic, but what the heck. :)

Interesting indeed. Must admit I prefer the original, but it's great that someone added their own twist. Very cool of them. :)

Thank you. I had fun making it way back in 2010 :)

It was created as something of a musical challenge for me; trying to produce believable orchestration with simple software. Not sure how successful I was overall (I could never compete with a real orchestra!) but I figured using one of my favourite themes from what is still one of my favourite films was appropriate for the task. As you've noticed, I changed a few things in it here and there as well as adding a few vocal samples from the film.

I seem to recall I started working on a version of 'Then We Are Together' (my absolute favourite piece from the film) shortly after completing the above piece but I never did get around to finishing it. Might have to return to that at some point in the future...

It's been a while since I've popped my head in the forum. Great to see enthusiasm for the film is still alive and well!

Please do so, if only to satisfy the rabid folks around here.

Thanks

It was very refreshing to hear the theme played in a somewhat different way. That's very intriguing and capture's one interest. Thanks! :D

I actually teared up. Damnit, I'm such a softie. :P I guess hearing it in a different, refreshed way was almost like hearing it for the first time again. I loved it, many many kudos.
