Film Adaptation?

Post by the_value_of_x » Sat Mar 19, 2011 1:36 am

What if (and this is a huge if) there was a short film of LTODD? What would you like to see in it?
Please don't flood me with spoilers because I haven't read the book yet!

But why ask something you don't want to see the answer to? O.o

Do we have any Lina or Kåre clones to play our favorite couple?

If you want to see more of Oskar and Eli, why not a movie on Intrige's fanfiction instead? ;) Basicly the same thing as Oskar and Eli are concerned.

That would not solve the actor problem though  . Could anyone except Lina and Kåre pull this off? Cloning does indeed sounds like a great idea ;) .

I think the two options are either completely new cast or not at all. I am not entirly sure which one i prefer. There are some stories that I know that I would have liked better if there weren't sequels made. I have not yet read LtODD so I can not tell if this is one of them.

How about a tv series covering both novels?

THAT would be interesting.

LTODD is sort of included in the stageplay at Uppsala Stadsteater.

well, if they jumped on it RIGHT AWAY, a short film could be made with Lina & Kare. I'm sure with makeup and wardrobe they could make the pair look almost as young as in LTROI.

the chances of this happening? very, very slim.
