There is a new short story from John Ajvide Lindqvist to be included in the anthology of vampire stories called SEIZE THE NIGHT.
Edited by Christopher Golden, the book is scheduled to go on sale at 10/6/2015 in US.
According to JAL, the story will contain some information about what happened after LTROI and LTODD, so I know I'll be getting that book for sure, even though it's a trade paperback. Marlaine Delargy will again be pulling translation duty.

I found some more info on the editor's Facebook page.

The most important would be that the publisher is Gallery Books, but there also is a list of contributing authors.
But from the beginning Eli was just Eli. Nothing. Anything. And he is still a mystery to me. John Ajvide Lindqvist

So this is slated to come out soon, eh? Any more news about what the plot of JAL's story will be?

It will apparently be released on the 6th of October this year.

JAL writes in his blog that the story features a truck driver who is also a vampire (or vice-versa). Furthermore, the story will reveal some more about what became of Oskar and Eli after LtROI and LtODD.

Just finish reading the story. I couldn't feel sympathy for the protagonist. The story has some interesting elements though.

Spoil it for me. Is about Eli and oskar or not? If is like llodd I'll pass. If they are in in there i'll read it. Please let me know. Ps i hated the being in the background
