I could never write anything that short. I've tried, I can't do a 'short story' less than 30 pages

I'd love to be a writer too though. Only I'd have to have some say in the cover design at least. I have a close relative who's an author and hasn't had much input on the cover... and sometimes they really misrepresent the author's work (English covers for JAL's work come to mind
they look so unremarkable and mainstream...)
