So, is the name of Oskar's mother ever given (in the novel) ? I do not recall that it is and suspect it is not given.

No, her name wasn't ever given - I suspect it's because the story is told from Oskar's point of view (POV) and not many children (nor adults) think of, nor refer to their parents as more than "Mom" and "Dad"

Remember that it also took a little while before Erik even told Oskar's mom that Oskar went that night..
