Not sure whether I passed Å in Fosen, but there is an Å in Lofoten as well, which I visited in 2007 :D

I'm sure Lina has numerous offers for tv and movie roles, interviews, guest spots, etc. internationally as well as locally. But as much as the public adores Lina you have to admire her and her family's (obvious) wishes to stay out of the limelight. She mentioned LTROI was a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime experience but it is now past. She seems to be content to live as a relatively normal teenager/young adult. I find nothing wrong with this. Nobody knows if we'll ever see Lina on the screen again and maybe Lina herself doesn't know. I for one will miss seeing her as she is a captivating person and Eli/Lina won't be forgotten for a very long time. To you Lina I wish you the best in life whatever you decide to do.
"Can we die?" "Of course we can." Eli put his hand on his heart, felt the slow beats. Maybe it was because he was a child. Maybe that was why he hadn't put an end to it. The pangs of conscience were weaker than his will to live.

Thanks, PeteMork, for posting the pics of Lina from the article. Saved me some effort in adding these to my collection. :) And thanks to everyone who posted translations of the article.

We are very happy to announce that Lina Leanderssen the young actress from Swedish vampire hit movie ‘Let the Right One In’ has accepted the role of the character Lillemor in our new film of the same name. Things are moving forward with the new film which we hope to shoot in Sweden in the summer of 2011.

You can't be to shure about facebook, so, here is a little more. :)
Neither Kåre nor Lina are professional child actors. Lina, however, wants to pursue an acting carreer in her future, while Kåre seems to concentrate rather on music. Anyway, both her and Kåre have taken roles in upcoming movies, Lina plays the lead role in Lillemor and Kåre also takes the lead in Amors Baller.

Actually, that quote was taken from the film company's website. So it seems to be a trustworthy source.

For my part, i would be extremely disappointed and sad to not see Lina pursue an acting career, for whatever reason. I would of course respect her decision but for me, it would be a huge missed opportunity, even she has already starred in a masterpiece. This girl has so much talent.

Come on Lina, tell us, is Lillemor just a rumor or is it true? (just kidding)

I wonder if the movie is going to be English language or Swedish.
