As the text in the newsflash says, Lina has accepted the role of the character Lillemor in the film, and yes as others have already written - Lillemor is a decently common female name in Norway and Sweden.

Awesome! Just one more thing to look forward to. :D

The awesome thing is that Lina really is getting a chance to pursue what she said her dream was: to have a career as a film actress.

You go, Lina!
...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.

Anyone know anything about "Lillemor"?
An original screenplay or a book adaption?

Not a thing really, but the post about Ben O'Connor seems to imply a screenplay. Maybe someone can Google about and find a book with that title.

I'll drink to that! One thing that would be interesting to know: in what language will it be? The title doesn't suggest English, although Ben O'Connor is British. If it's in Norwegian or Swedish, the subtitles won't bother me.

But we know about the "anti-subtitle" faction, don't we. ;)

Personally, I hope Lina never goes "Hollywood", I would much prefer to read the bottom of the screen of another wonderful Swedish film.

It's about time! I was beginning to worry that she would be forgotten too soon!!
