Those interested in the Swedish language may like to learn that Legoknäckt is a deliberate misspelling of legoknekt, which means mercenary. This, I guess, refers to this one-man company's business idea of doing work for others. However, the word knäckt means broken, both in the physical and mental sense. Maybe it also refers to the guy's ability to crack problems. Additionally, lego might refer to that the guy builds stuff...CyberGhostface wrote:For those interested a reverse Google search on Lina shows this page.

Some LTROI production pics

Thanks, Ash

Re: Some LTROI production pics
I have some other info about the telephone booth. In the documentary Ett anständigt liv (A Decent Life), Kenta makes a phone call from a similar booth in Blackeberg. I'm rather convinced that this particular scene in LTROI is a wink towards the previous film. Those booths were out of use in 2007, when LTROI as shot, thus the film prop.
A site (in Swedish) with a couple of pictures:

Here's Ett anständingt liv, complete. The phone booth is visible at 1:15:36.

Here's a street view of the same place. You'll notice the wall which is visible in Ett anständigt liv, and (if you turn around) the Blackeberg underground station which is visible in the scene in LTROI.

A brief explanation - I generally don't post direct links to blogs/sites where I find images out of respect for the blogger who may or may not want "outsiders" to visit their site.
(and I also wouldn't get the heady buzz of others wondering where I got the pics from.)

A problem with this approach is that it also removes the credits for the images. Personally, I would be less happy with this than a direct link to stuff I've published on the net.Ash wrote:A brief explanation - I generally don't post direct links to blogs/sites where I find images out of respect for the blogger who may or may not want "outsiders" to visit their site.

Re: Some LTROI production pics
Thank you for sharing these! I've always loved production pictures. Great find too!

Re: Some LTROI production pics
All LTROI production stuff is obviously from EFTI, and YouTube is fair game, but other images of cast etc. may not necessarily be, like the Ömheten pics I recently posted. That's why I didn't link it, and why we don't post links to Lina's personal blog. I don't think she'd appreciate that regardless of any crediting of pictures there, or the fact she put her blog out there on the net for all to see. Discretion being the better part of valour.metoo wrote:A problem with this approach is that it also removes the credits for the images. Hmm, I seem to perceive a lack of consistency here. You don't provide links because of privacy concerns, but you re-publish images from the very sites you don't link to?Ash wrote:All LTROI production stuff is obviously from EFTI, and YouTube is fair game, but other images of cast etc. may not necessarily be, like the Ömheten pics I recently posted. Anyway, the images you posted were from a professional site. I think Emil Eriksson, aka Legoknäckt, the owner of that site, would prefer being linked to, both for the sake of credits and because it would improve his Google rating.

How about the photo of the windows with the platform and the box-like structures built around them? My first guess would be that this is for a shot of Eli outside a window from inside a room, either Håkan's hospital room or Oskar's bedroom. But both of those were interior sets and the windows in the photo appear to be in an actual building.
Re: Some LTROI production pics
This was what I though, too, although I assumed the extended sills were for interior shots with Eli sitting on the sill, outside the window. It should be easy enough to check if e.g. the hospital scene fits the windows in that picture.randwill wrote:How about the photo of the windows with the platform and the box-like structures built around them?
