Lina to Dalarna Film Festival

Post by drakkar » Mon Sep 06, 2010 8:31 am

Lina will visit Dalarna Filmfestival, where she also will be one of the hosts.
The film festival takes place September 17 in Borlänge, close to her home (assuming she still lives in Falun).
(in Swedish).

Thanks for this very interesting information. Great to hear about her again. Maybe we will know more about future projects for her.

For what it's worth, FeatureOne Films on their website recently stated that she would star as Lillemor in the film of the same name. The plan is to film it in Sweden next summer. They have a website, if you care to check it out. But there has been no further information since this was posted in June. Perhaps someone will think to ask her about it at that festival.

Thanks for the link - I'd been keeping an eye on the website in the hope of seeing an article on Lina, but you've beaten me to the punch!

That said, My Word! That photograph really put her age into perspective doesn't it? Looking at the Empire Awards footage, you could be forgiven for thinking she looks a quite a few years older than 14, but she looks more her age here, which is nice.

Reading the interview via Google Translate (I think I trust that more than my friend in skåne right now ;) ), it's interesting to note that although she's had offers of more roles, none have caught her interest at this time. Hopefully, she'll go for quality over quantity in that respect. It's nice to hear that she's putting out feelers for roles in international movies and I suppose England is as good a place to start as any. We also have some great theatre here, and given that she seems to enjoy stage work, that might help her in perfecting her craft (I just hope she steers clear of Panto :? )

Lastly, I hope she hasn't left her friends behind in the real sense - you can never have too many friends and the oldest ones are usually the most reliable in my experience...

Guess that's mostly because of her casual clothing not wearing makeup.

Yeah I know - I just thought it was a nice contrast between the glamour and the reality. Sometimes it's easy to forget that she's not yet an adult, given her maturity in interviews...

Google Translate reports the writer's name as Towering Smith.
