Actually, that makes perfect sense. But you'd think the article would have mentioned her if that were the case.

Not invite Lina! That could qualify as sacrilege (sort of). The equivalent of (many years ago)inviting Bela Lugosi and not Lon Chaney, Jr. I'm guessing that she was invited and just couldn't be there at that time. A previous post did state that she was going to Russia after filming in England.

They both look "cornered". These festivals do not look like much fun...
I'm sure K and L would rather be working on some film project...but
I guess these fest gigs do serve a purpose.

I guess they just didn't metion her.

I got this same Google Alert a few minutes ago. It does strongly suggest they were both there. Kåre is obviously posing for the camera (which he often seems to do) and Lina seems to be in a thoughtful (non-posing) mode.

When both of them appeared at the movie festival in London, Lina did mention briefly that part of their job was to appear at these affairs. My impression is that she didn't sound overly-enthusiastic about it. I once heard a character in a movie remark that "popularity is much like a job; you have to work at it". Sounds logical.
