for me i could probably imagine the two leads from super 8 as abby and owen, what do you guys think?

Yeah I thought Elle Fanning would have made a good Abby/Eli when I saw Super 8. I always thought Max Records from Where the Wild Things Are would have been a good Owen.

that's pretty good too, i could imagine him a lot in owen's place, maybe that kid from diary of a wimpy kid too lol i could imagine that too haha

Elle Fanning is a marvelous young actress. The only problem I see with her as Abby is that she's so tall.

o.k. So she is 5´7" ? That's pretty tall for a 12 years old girl. With even taller Owen they could made a nice SLAM DUNK contest with bulies heads right after pool scene. And of course poor policeman would be ripped in two pieces like nothing .

Quite simple answer really...this kid could have made a really damn good Oskar

Devin Brochu. After seeing him in Hesher, I am convinced that this kid would made have a perfect Oskar/Owen. I think his role in Hesher reminded me a lot of what I loved about Oskar in the first place...I'm totally convinced that this kid could have made a fantastic Oskar/Owen.
