Question about Swedish version?

Post by Edelweiss » Mon Apr 30, 2012 11:12 pm

Hi let me start by saying I'm new here :D This is my first post!

I am a huge huge fan of the movie, of which I only just recently had the pleasure to watch. It's great! I'm working my way through the novel right now, during my breaks at Uni. It's a great time waster, hah...

But I really, REALLY want one of the Swedish copies of the book :( None of the Swedish sites I've found carrying it will ship to US.

Can anyone help me to find a Swedish print of Låt den rätte komma in that will ship to the US? Or would be willing to sell me a copy?

It would mean very very much to me! Thanks for your time :)

First allow me to say welcome to the forum!

As for your question regarding where to find a Swedish version of the novel... well you and I are in the same boat. Someone pointed me to a place to find a used copy of the book once that would ship to the US but that was some time ago so the chances of them still having it is slim and none. If I could remember who it was I would say talk to him or her but I can't.

Hope you find what you're looking for! Be ready to spend a little money too... I think the copy I found was around 70 bucks before shipping :(
slog tillbaka. hårt.

Awwww no D: Dammit!

Oh well, I'd be willing to shell it out if I could at least find it :( But thanks for the welcome and the help <3

I'll definitely start keeping my eyes peeled!

Welcome to the site Edelweiss.
Like you I have found out the hard way that none of the Swedish book publishers will ship to US.
They will however ship to Canada. Unfortunately, unless you know someone in Sweden or Canada your choices are kind of limited....Good luck. You can do it. Just look around. It's possible. Beleive me, I know. ;)

Hi there, and thanks!

I don't live in Canada or have any buddies in Canada, however I DO live very close to the Canadian border, and I have a good friend in UK.

Think I could maybe get him to work as my middleman?

Sorry, I just posted a whole lot of wrong info ... by mistake ... and then deleted it.

.

Hey Edelweiss, Welcome to The Infected :)

.

Edit: here's one that apparently delivers to the US.

http://hedengrens.se.loopiadns.com/prod ... komma%2Bin

It says 70 USD, but it means 70 SEK, which is about $10, postage extra.

I hope that one does deliver to US. I'd E-Mail them and ask first...just to be on the safe side.
