Agreed, Viggo Mortensen looks seriously hot with a beard as Aragorn in 'The Lord of the Rings', but dull as hell in 'Good'. Thinking about it, Alan Rickman looked great with a beard in 'Robin Hood: Prince of thieves', much better than Kevin Costner and his acting was better too. Having lived in Yellowstone Park for almost a decade, I can attest to the fact that there is something twistedly alluring about walking through the snow at -30 degrees while wearing sandals (and fleece socks). Your feet should be cold, but it actually takes quite a bit of moisture to soak through the fleece.
