The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary

I am pretty big fan of The Cult. It never occurred to me associate this song with this story. Good call.

Although this song wasn't released until 1985, and even then I doubt the The Cult would have had much market penetration in early 1980's upstate New Mexico.

More is the pity.

The sounds of the music box make me think of Oskar and Eli's playfulness, how much fun they have together. The song's sort of stripped-down quality makes it feel like it's more isolated, like it's about them and how separate they are from the rest of the world.

Other than that, I'm still of the opinion Let the Right One Slip In should play during the credits.
