This doesn't make sense

This website is much like Rotten Tomatoes except it rates books, the weird thing is critics responded very differently on the same book with a different title. I wonder why there was such a big gap when the only thing that differed from the books was Let Me In versus Let The Right One In.

I'm at a loss
:?:
Maybe they need to contemplate "Don't judge the book by it's cover"
It doesn't make sense, like Chewbacca on Endor.

They are two different lists of 'reviewers' for both books. Even though the text inside the 'different' books is the same, what differs is the actual people doing the reviewing.

Even though the Examiner, and AV Club appear in both book's reviewers, different people are actually doing the reviewing (Susan Acosta & Catherine Flynn for the Examiner, Tasha Robinson & Keith Phipps for the AV Club). Add to that that they are quoting the 'readers' reviews for Let The Right One In and the 'critics' reviews for Let Me In. In reality the headline figures should be 76% v 60%

Given the small sample size, it is not really that strange that the 'stats' are so different. If they had collected a few thousand reviews for both titles I am confident the stats would have been a lot more similar.

It is also a bit of a mess, some reviews were about the films and not the book, and one review that I checked was about Let The Old Dreams Die

.
"For a few seconds Oskar saw through Eli’s eyes. And what he saw was … himself. Only much better, more handsome, stronger than what he thought of himself. Seen with love."
