Oh no, Eli is satanic!?
I found a review that takes a more cynical approach to Eli and Oskar's relationship: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrT6UD35X8I
I have been infected, will you let me in?

What a take! I'd likewise be turning off comments if I were to leave such a stilted review. Yet, everyone is entitled to their viewpoint and expression.
Re: Oh no, Eli is satanic!?
SUCH a harsh view, not just about Eli turning Oskar to a new helper, which to be fair many have interpeted it as before. But turning it religious about the god and the devil, that's a first. I hate it when they just quote the bible. Like they can't think for themselves.Oh well, freedom of speech and all that.

That was 4:31 minutes wasted, really bland and boring.

Having a "left hand path approach" or a "Jungean" archetypical point of view to LTROI would have been an interesting idea, though. I doubt, this has been done before. To bad, this is spoiled by monothesitic fanatism.
From a LHP point of view, Eli can be seen as "Orphanus sum"
