Part of the Halloween sale.

Warning: It has the Magnolia subtitles. I'm going to ask if they can change it but IDK if that will happen.

What are magnolia subtitles?

Sounds pretty, though. ;)

This subject was my introduction to Wolfchild's work:

While your at it read "A Tale told by Hands." :)

I'll break open the story and tell you what is there. Then, like the others that have fallen out onto the sand, I will finish with it, and the wind will take it away.

Hell, I've seen it so many times, I've been watching it without subtitles!

Good find.

True for many of us, but the Magnolia subs are embarrassingly idiotic in places.

I usually do that, too.
But from the beginning Eli was just Eli. Nothing. Anything. And he is still a mystery to me. John Ajvide Lindqvist

However, in other places they are arguably better. In particular, they have the superior translation of Eli's note.
...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.
