A Walk In The Woods At Midnight: Let The Right One In Review

I enjoyed watching this review. I wonder what they would have to say if they had watched the film a second time...

Interesting review. They were spot on with some things and then miles away on other parts. I was thinking the guy was pretty good when he pointed out that lots/all the characters were looking for connections, that's pretty insightful for a first viewing, and then he dropped the "Dad's gay lover" thing and the "Oskar replaces Håkan" idea  . Oh well. Maybe he won't think the music is "sappy" if he knows that the Erik wasn't gay, and that Janne wasn't his lover? They got the fact that Eli & Oskar's love was a sexless love, so there's that :D. Oh, and I just remembered, the guy picked up on Håkan being a rubbish caretaker and questioned how long he had been killing for Eli, but then the woman convinced him that Håkan might just be getting old.

Why can't people pronounce Eli's name correctly?????

.
"For a few seconds Oskar saw through Eli’s eyes. And what he saw was … himself. Only much better, more handsome, stronger than what he thought of himself. Seen with love."

Well you know, even Oskar had to repeat Eli’s name to get it right...

Seems like a lot of Americans draw the wrong conclusion about Oskar’s dad and the next door neighbor. I think it’s that glance they give each other that throws some people off.
