Suntup will be releasing a new limited edition of Let the Right One In. It will be available for preorder on the 18th. There are three editions, the cheapest being $130. If you want the signed version with Lindqvist I highly suggest you get it as soon as it's available at 9 a.m. PT. It will probably be gone within the hour. All editions will include illustrations, a new introduction by Lindqvist as well as the two short stories written after.

In case anyone is wondering why the snake is there (I had to look it up myself):
Håkan sat on the floor in the narrow corridor and listened to the splashing from the bathroom. His knees were pulled up so his heels touched his buttocks; his chin rested on his knees. Jealousy was a fat, chalk-white snake in his chest. It writhed slowly, as pure as innocence and childishly plain.
Replaceable. He was . . . replaceable.

Just bought mine, $150 for a book, whelp. Feels like college. Anyways, was feeling down because of the pandemic and thought this'll be a nice treat.

Look on the bright side, you
could be Eli. Sheltering in place every day for hundreds of years and having to practice massive social distancing when venturing out for food
.

So I just got some big news, I won a copy of the numbered edition.
What happened was during an announcement video for an earlier book the publisher had a Rubik's cube on his desk. The gimmick is he often has items that foreshadow future releases and the first person who guesses what it signifies wins a prize. I was the first one to guess that the cube was a reference to LTROI.
I'll try to share some pics here when it comes in.

Thanks everyone... it was a big deal for me because at the time I didn’t think I would have been able to get a copy as the only people who could order it were the ones who ordered the publisher’s previous book.
I collect limited edition books from time to time and a special edition of LTROI was my holy grail so I was pretty bummed that I missed out.
I am excited that because of this a lot of people who haven't read the book will be doing so soon. A number of people have told me this will be their introduction to the story so hopefully they will be ‘infected’ soon.
