Eli's voice

I searched, and didn't find anything about his voice, specifically. I read that his voice dubbibg was used ecause Lina's voice was too high-pitched. I figured that applied throughout the movie. But, then, it seemed to my ears that his voice was only deep, when angry, or when his face can't be seen. Was it only then, when the voice dubbing was used?

Lina's voice was dubbed all the way through by a girl around the same age called Elif, she had a darker more masculine voice. It took over a year or so to dub it, they had Elif bite into sauseges even, for sound effects.

Interesting. I found another post, with a video of an interview with Lina. Her voice did sound fairly high pitched, but I think that could have been fine, seeing as how Eli is a castrated male, and therefore wouldn't have a lower voice. I wish Lina's voice could have been kept for the parts where Eli wasn't angry, or any other mood or whathave you, that required a lower voice.

I read about the sound effects. I think a nice job was done, with them.
