I just found this on the webpage of Svenska Dagbladet:
http://www.svd.se/kulturnoje/nyheter/la ... 700505.svd
Den amerikanska filmatiseringen av Ajvide Lindqvists roman, "Let me in", får svensk biopremiär under våren.
"Let the right one" to be continued
What happens after the novel "Let the right one in" finishes? What do Oskar and his vampire friend Eli do when they have left Blackeberg? These questions John Ajvide Lindqvist answers in a newly written short story in the book "Let the old dreams die" which will be published in January.
The book consists of both new and old material, most of it in the form of short stories, but also causeries and a number of unknown comedy sketches written for the TV show Reuter & Skoog.
The fans are probably most curious about the title story which is described as an epilogue to "Let the right one in". Here the fans can follow Oskar and Eli on the way away from what happened in the Stockholm suburb Blackberg.
The American film version of Ajvide Lindqvist's novel, "Let me in", will have its Swedish cinema premiere during the spring.

Damn, you beat me to it!

I've checked those pages twice a week for a long time now - and when I at last catch a cold and become sloppy - there it is!

Could be quite a while. I think it will depend on how well the Swedish novel sells.

I think nithr intended to say "just making it a
short story is such a cop out". The Swedish word for short story (
novell) is a
false friend of the English word "novel".
