Not that I can watch it, but I wouldn't be second guessing the choice of actors. Boys, girls, adults, children...
As long as they can play the part well, you won't notice, or at least mind the "inaccuracy"
... she looks like a kid who has just been overindulgent with chocolate cake or a messy candy bar...
I could just picture Arnold planting a bloody kiss on Oskar telling him "I'll be back."

Is it possible for you to give us feedback about the play - or are you required to be neutral?

That depends on who puts in the best offer. :P

No, I'll let you know what I think!

By the way, drakkar, do you know that John is in Norway?

Yes, I've already posted about it ;)
From Trondheim a trip to Stockholm is about as easy as visiting Oslo. Hence I would rather hear him promoting LTODD in Stockholm, than watching him promote Little Star (in Norwegian) in Oslo - a book I read nine months ago. (I'm curious about the translation though. Intrige, do you use skype? )

I guess it is difficult to actually use children for a play like this. Damn child labour laws!
Swedish laws make night work possible for children employed in the theatre. But regulations limit the amount of time between performances before children are permitted to work again – some productions manage this by having teams of children alternating nightly in the same parts.
The hassle of doing this is overcome by simply using adults in child roles.
The obvious danger of using adults (or teenagers) in child roles it that they're not very convincing.
Judy Garland, Sue Lyon and Dominique Swain did their best, but .... not very convincing.
