Happy Birthday Honza! I'm very excited for you.
"Can we die?" "Of course we can." Eli put his hand on his heart, felt the slow beats. Maybe it was because he was a child. Maybe that was why he hadn't put an end to it. The pangs of conscience were weaker than his will to live.

While wandering here between posts and FF, I am gradually getting convinced, that I haven't seen anywhere more beautiful madness than on this forum. Clubmeister

That is a mighty fine gift you got there. I'm so glad you were finally able to get a copy and such a nice one at that.

DONE
a few interesting things happened during my reading and I also noticed some things that make it clearer for me to understand a few things in the movie
first, in the movie the scene, first meeting, when Eli and Oskar talk about cannot being a friend etc... oskar interrupts Eli and Lina smiles a little and then continues, I thought that it was a blooper but in the book is written that Eli really smiles a little and then continues, in my opinion first Lina wasn't told to do it but when Oskar interrupted her she smiled and Thomas decided to leave it there because it is authentic and it really happened in the book...
second during my whole reading I was listening to the LDRKI soundtrack (you know, the atmosphere
) but what I didn't expect was that sometimes the music really fitted to the scene I was reading in the book: during the castration scene was playing song "giving up" during Håkan's visit in the vault (fight with Eli, attempted rape) the song "Lacke dies" played and when Eli attacked Lacke in the bathroom "Virginia is bitten" played I swear I didn't play these song deliberately while reading these parts, it just happened pure coincidence
good song played even while Håkan was turning into the zombie in the basement of the hospital and when he killed the man who put him there
if you listen to these songs you'll see (as I did, or at least I think so) how they fit the scene, whoooooo creeeeeeepy
and yeah of course I love that book
p.s. EDIT: for me most obvious grammatical mistakes
