WOW!
What great items to have, especially if you're a fan.
Thanks for the pictures, they're excellent.
It's a pity they were washed.... personally, I'd have liked to have smelled Lina on them. Yeh, that's a bit creepy. Don't care.

What's even creepier is that the clothes, while cute and YES definitely worth collecting, are just dull and lifeless rags when Leandersson isn't in them.

There are a couple of other posts showing props from the film. Maybe Wolf should move all of them into one post at the top of the film section.

This crosses from "creepy" into "disturbing".

Seriously. :|
...the story derives a lot of its appeal from its sense of despair and a darkness in which the love of Eli and Oskar seems to shine with a strange and disturbing light.

I love the smell of Eli in the morn... Wait, I didn't say that. I DIDN'T SAY THAT!

I must admit I felt in love with the hat maybe the second time I watched the movie!
The blue/yellow color combo and the pompon at the top make it look kinda cute ... not to mention the fact Eli wore it ...

I would bite someones neck for it ... :geek:

For me, it was cute only when Eli was wearing it. Otherwise, it's just a hat.

As for the smell thing, well... first thought to cross my mind is having my daughter on my lap with my nose stuck in her hair. Gotta love the smell on a kid's hair when it's just been washed with baby shampoo.

Smell can be very powerful, a whiff of this takes you back to that special Christmas when you were eight or so, a snootful of that reminds you of the horrible time you had when you were living in that apartment - and it's instant. You catch the scent and BAM, the memory is just there, bigger than life and just as unavoidable.

I tend to accept those kinds of "disturbing" comments with a rather large grain of salt, it goes to "tolerance". Some people are a lot more smell-driven than others, just as others are craploads more touchie-feelie than many. In a similar vein, IMO, some peope are gay, others completely lacking any desire whatsoever, and... and... and... We all have differences, and we're not always willing to share what those differences might be.

Still, I'm thinking I'm kinda glad my daughter, who is now in her middle twenties and plenty feisty enough to handle men three times her mass, doesn't live in the same postal code as our would-be Eli sniffer...
