Well, I can understand he left the LTROI mindset behind a long time ago, and it's a bit bizarre to have such a strong display of affection for his role in it arrive unexpectedly four years after he finished LTROI. It doesn't mean he thinks the infected are crazy. :)

Hmm, perhaps he meant "revolving"?

I am not surprised that he perceives a time lag. I doubt he appreciates that it took time for this forum to (a) be formed, (b) reach a sufficient size to make the project feasible, (c) get the whole thing put together.

Kare's reaction is not unexpected. I've spoken to a few working actors through the years and to them a particular movie they were involved in is just a step on the ladder of their acting career...To their fans, these characters are frozen in time...to the actor it was just a gig they did to pay the rent or something even more mundane...
At least Kare wrote a "thank you" note which I think was very gracious.
Kåre Hedebrant Art Project was a nice gesture, but we should move on and not dwell on whether Mr. Hedebrant fully comprenhended everything that went into making it a reality. Nothing we can do about it anyway. As JAL says in some of his novels:"...that's the way it is..."

Nice gestures by Kare and Lina to acknowledge the project gifts sent to them.

I have to remember that this is almost 4.5 years after he was involved.

Almost 1/3 of his life ago!!!

Us old geezers have to remember what is is like when young. Things change so fast in that time.

And he is not infected so does not live this every day, by a long shot.
While wandering here between posts and FF, I am gradually getting convinced, that I haven't seen anywhere more beautiful madness than on this forum. Clubmeister

He's probably done a ton of stuff since Let the Right One In.I once read an interview with the actor who played "Biggs"(Luke Skywalkers X-Wing home planet friend). He was actually a very accomplished working actor before and after the first Star Wars movie. He did express a little frustration because he knew how popular the movie was and he was getting alot of fan mail, but he said "Its like all people think I did was Star Wars" and he'd been acting professionally for years.
Star Trek actors/actresses were under contract to acknowledge the fan base. This resulted in the studios keeping the talent "in the loop" as to what the fans were generally thinking and up too. They had professional help to keep up with the fans from a studio.
Kare and Lina probably don't have that kind of assistance except maybe when there working on a project. It must be a bit overwhelming for them.

It was really cool to hear from him 8-)
